Now a boat party veteran, Darren knew what he was up against. A tightly knit throng of sweaty, groovin' music lovers...all communicating on the same wavelength. So rather than rising to the occasion and simply blowing us away as he did last November, he meticulously chose records that would make our heads spin. Relentlessly beating into our brains, making us dance wildly and uncontrollably. And once again, security had to pull the power just to get people to leave the boat.

But that was just Darren's set. All the boys threw down like there was no tomorrow. Dano preceded Darren downstairs with what was probably one of his best sets ever. While Carlitos, fredness & JZ held court upstairs...where, as always the groove had a slightly more naughty undertone (read as "there was booty shaking going on").

Needless to say...Watermelon 7, although slightly delayed leaving the dock, was an amazing event. Thanks to all of you that made it out....without your positive vibe and love of music, these parties wouldn't work. If you know more people just like you...bring them with you next time.

And lastly, thanks to all of the volunteers...who managed to pull it all together. Where would we be without you?
