Rob Salmon

Rob Salmon is a house producer, credited alongside Dick Johnson, better known as Magik J, on Transit, released on Red Melon in 2004. The label's notes describe the pairing as Magik J and Rob Salmon teaming up for a warm tech-house cut. Transit is travel-minded tech and deep house: filtered airport and pilot-radio chops sit as texture over dubby minor stabs, swung 909 hats and a round analog sub. Dano's remix on the other side rebuilds it with dub-house chord stabs and a long subtractive outro for the booth.
