Cloud City was Dano and Halo, two West Coast producers pooling their instincts for a 2001 release that pairs a song with a weapon. Show U Love puts Niara's soulful lead front and centre, with Sen-Sei on keys, over a warm, resonant syncopated sub, swinging hats and rimshots, with long DJ intros and pad-and-hook breakdowns that open into full verses. Divebomb goes the other way: raw, saturated, analog-leaning tech-house with a massive rolling sub, a plucky resonant sequence and a signature pitch-descending bend that marks the main break. Both sides run close to nine minutes, made for real mixing.
