Tuhin Roy's You Gotta Love, from 2002, is West Coast deep tech house with a soulful hook and a funk-forward heart. The Feel Mix sets chopped "you gotta love the feeling" phrases against punchy kicks, offbeat hats and dub-house Rhodes stabs opening through low-pass sweeps, warm and club-shaped. The Thump Mix thickens the kick and claps, stacking pitched-down robotic vocals against filtered chord pulses for a heavier ride. Bobo Needs the Funk drops the vocal entirely, letting a bouncy, mid-punchy funk bass and an acid-tinged filter swirl carry the floor. Three angles on early-2000s West Coast groove, all analog warmth.
