Magik J's Transit, from 2004, is travel-minded tech and deep house, with Dano answering on the remix. The original keeps swung 909 hats and a round, bouncing analog sub under short-decay dubby minor stabs, using filtered airport and pilot radio chatter as texture before thinning to kick and percussion for a clean mix-out. Dano's remix rebuilds the journey on a punchy round kick, swung shakers and a deep syncopated bass, with dub-house chord stabs thrown wide in delay and sparse, breathy vocal chops threading the midsection. A long subtractive outro hands the booth over gently. West Coast house, departures-lounge cool.
