Rob Mello is a London DJ and producer, billed on this Melon night from Classic Recordings. He ran Luxury Service Records with Zaki D, along with the Disco 45 and No Ears labels, and also recorded as The Disco Plumber. He shared the bill with DJ Filter (Phil Williams) from Wellington, New Zealand.
Dano (AKA Daniel Hruby) is the Founder and owner of underground dance music label Red Melon Records. Founded by Dano in 1996, with Jay joining about a year later and Fredness becoming the critical third member, the label showcased the burgeoning West Coast Sound movement that reigned in the new century of underground rave and club music. Dano, a DJ and producer of techno and house music, has headlined major clubs around the world, including London's Fabric, Singapore's Zouk, and with label Partner JZ (Jay Zimmermann) produced Underground events Melon and Watermelon boat parties from 2000 onward.
