Inequity, a 2024 single, featuring Double Tiger, puts a socially pointed spoken hook inside Dano's deep, dubby, percussive pocket. It opens on congas, bongos and a muted kick, with a reverbed male "ahhh" hanging in the air, before a staccato two-chord organ bounce and full house hats and claps lock in. A thick, rubbery, squelchy bassline sits under Caribbean patois spoken lines, "too much inequity, I say," giving the groove its edge and its conscience. Built for long club rides, it closes on an extended percussion outro that peels back toward hand drums. Message music for the dancefloor, delivered with weight.
