As The Twisted Pair!, Dano and Joeski built Twisted Horns around a single filter-modulated horn stab and rode it to glory in 1999. The Original pairs that twisted brass with punchy kicks, shuffling hats and a warm, bouncing sub, dubbing the horns and vocal chops into cavernous space. Dano's Twisted Dub tightens the pocket with metallic cowbell and rim syncopation. Dano's Twist of Melon Remix runs past ten minutes, piling on congas, a rubbery funk bass and pitch-bent horns that finally give way to a wailing siren synth. A late-90s West Coast classic whose original still appears in Beatport DJ charts.
